mountain tranquility

Stayed here for two nights in Feb. with a group of photographers. Charming cabins, beautiful setting with mountain view. Excellent food at the restaurant. Good activity at the bird feeders including regular visits by silver throated tanager, flame colored tanager, common chlorospingus, and of course, emerald toucanets. Proprietors are a delight, very friendly and helpful. Excursions for quetzals can be arranged. Will definitely have to return to try to see the cacomixtli.

2 night stay

We stayed for two nights. The hotel is a quiet and nice place. We loved the exceptionally helpful staff. They made an early departure, midday snack food and coffee possible. I personally had a wonderful bird watching a morning tour with the owner where we spotted two queztal. It is a great place.

Paradise close to the city

Edna and Gerry (the owners) were very welcoming with us, place and food were really good. Totally recommended place!! I'll definitely go again!! It is a quiet and peaceful place where I can go and forget about everything. Rooms are very clean and comfortable
